Agreement and licence

SpaceCam is provided by an individual developer operating as LinkSpace Studio. These terms describe use of SpaceCam and its Free and Plus features. Contact: support@linkspacestudio.com.

The Apple Standard End User Licence Agreement applies to the app licence. These terms supplement it and do not replace Apple’s applicable terms. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. If these terms conflict with the Apple standard EULA on licensing, the Apple standard EULA controls.

Your content and responsible use

You retain your rights in your media. SpaceCam does not claim ownership of your photos, videos or documents. Use the app only for content and activities you are entitled to capture, store, edit and share, respecting others’ privacy and intellectual property.

You are responsible for checking capture results, save destinations and exports. Do not rely on a single copy for irreplaceable material. Hardware features, camera lenses, available storage and iOS permissions affect which functions are available.

Storage and deletion

Optional iCloud cross-device sync is off by default. When you enable it, private media (including embedded metadata), edits, folders, album membership, media identifiers and selected organization and protection settings are stored in your private iCloud database and use your iCloud storage. Apple processes this data under its iCloud terms and privacy policy. Completed uploads can be retrieved on another iPhone using the same Apple Account after enabling sync there. Changes and deletions sync; this is not a historical backup. Turning sync off stops further syncing on this iPhone without deleting existing cloud copies. Flags, notes and recordings are also included in SpaceCam sync. SpaceCam originals and related user data are eligible for iPhone backups according to your iCloud or computer backup settings; temporary caches are excluded. Restoring unsynced data requires a completed backup including SpaceCam after updating to a version that supports backup. Before deleting SpaceCam or changing phones, confirm sync has completed or export your files. Apple Photos copies follow your separate iCloud Photos settings.

iCloud sync is available on Free and Plus and requires an available Apple Account, network access and sufficient iCloud and device storage. Any iCloud storage plan or charges are separate from SpaceCam Plus. Apple’s iCloud Terms and Privacy Policy apply to its service. Sync currently runs while SpaceCam is open and unlocked; immediate or continuous background sync is not promised. Offline changes merge when sync resumes, and conflicting edits may replace earlier versions.

Private Recently Deleted items remain until restored or permanently deleted. Permanent deletion cannot be undone through SpaceCam. Sharing and exporting create copies outside the app’s control. Read the Privacy Policy for details.

Free plan

Free includes 300 captures per day across all capture modes, unlimited Quick Organize and unlimited Quick Album shortcuts. It includes the default capture folder plus one custom folder, up to three SpaceCam/mixed albums in total and fixed swipe Quick Organize actions. Existing Apple Photos albums do not count towards the album limit. Basic viewing, sharing, exporting, deleting, restoring and supported device authentication remain free.

Free includes 300 captures per day, shared across photos, videos, BabyCam photos and videos, and scanned pages. Each successfully saved photo, video or scan page counts once. Mixed saves and repeated exports of the same scan page count once; failed or cancelled captures do not count. Captures reserved before midnight count towards the day they started. Quick Organize and Quick Album shortcuts are unlimited on Free and Plus. Free uses fixed swipe actions; Plus allows custom swipe actions. Hiding, pinning and reordering shortcuts remain available on both plans.

The capture allowance resets at midnight in the time zone saved when the local meter was initialized; unused allowance does not roll over. Usage is stored on this device, without cross-device aggregation. The next reset time is shown in Plans and usage. Moving the clock backwards does not reopen a previous day. When upgrading from monthly limits, the daily count starts at zero; old records remain only for recovery and deduplication.

Plus Monthly and Plus Lifetime

Plus Monthly and Plus Lifetime unlock the same current Plus features: unlimited captures, custom capture folders and SpaceCam/mixed albums, plus custom swipe actions. Quick Organize and Quick Album shortcuts are unlimited on both Free and Plus. “Unlimited” removes plan quotas; available storage and device limitations still apply.

The intended US storefront prices are USD 2.99 per month for Plus Monthly and USD 9.99 once for Plus Lifetime. The localized price and terms shown by the App Store purchase sheet are authoritative and may vary by region and taxes. There is no free trial unless an offer is explicitly shown before purchase.

Lifetime is a non-consumable, one-time unlock of Plus for SpaceCam, without a recurring subscription payment. It does not promise perpetual app operation, compatibility with every future iOS version, separate future products or future paid services not included in Plus. Statutory rights and rights attached to your purchase remain unaffected.

Billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds

Apple charges your Apple Account at purchase confirmation. Monthly renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends; Apple may charge renewal within 24 hours before its end. Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancellation stops future renewals; access normally continues through the paid period.

Buying Lifetime does not automatically cancel an existing Monthly subscription. Cancel Monthly separately to prevent another renewal. Use Restore purchases with the Apple Account used for purchase to recover eligible access. Purchase access is subject to Apple transaction verification, expiry, refunds and revocation.

Refund requests are handled through Apple’s refund process, subject to Apple’s rules and applicable law. We cannot guarantee an approval or issue an App Store refund ourselves.

When Plus ends

Cancelling Monthly keeps Plus until the paid period ends. Your media and existing folders and albums are retained, including those above Free limits. Free capture limits use today’s recorded usage. Quick Organize and shortcuts remain unlimited. Custom settings stay saved, with Free behavior while Plus is inactive.

Availability, responsibility and changes

We work to keep SpaceCam usable, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation or recover media that has been permanently deleted. To the extent allowed by law, warranties and liability are governed by the Apple standard EULA. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Features and these terms may change as SpaceCam develops. We will make updated terms available with a new effective date and provide notice where required. Changes do not remove mandatory consumer rights or retroactively remove rights attached to a completed purchase. For questions or complaints, contact support.

Shared imports

Sharing to SpaceCam receives independent copies of files supplied by the source app. “Received” means the files are held on this iPhone awaiting import, not that album import or iCloud sync has finished. Open and unlock SpaceCam, verify the import and any required sync before removing source files or changing devices. Unsupported files and web links cannot be imported as videos. Quality and metadata depend on what the source app provides. Importing is available on Free and Plus and does not consume capture allowance; existing album-creation limits still apply.

Quick Organize results

SpaceCam saves the date and results of successful Quick Organize actions on your device: reviewed and deleted file counts, known source file sizes, and session-scoped anonymous identifiers to avoid duplicate counting. Results sync through your private iCloud database only when SpaceCam iCloud sync is enabled. They are not sent to LinkSpace Studio. Statistics begin when this feature is first used; older activity is not reconstructed.

“Deleted” includes files successfully moved to Recently Deleted. “Cleaned file size” is the approximate total of known source sizes, not storage already freed on your device. Unavailable sizes are excluded; SpaceCam does not download cloud originals just to calculate these results. Each file counts once per session, including Skip; reviewing it in another session counts as new work. Restoring a file does not erase past results. View saved sessions in Settings → Organizing results. The celebration appears only after all pending changes succeed.

Optional YouTube playback

SpaceCam uses YouTube API Services for optional embedded playback. By using this feature, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of data is explained in the Google Privacy Policy. YouTube controls video availability, ads and content restrictions; not every video can be embedded. SpaceCam does not download YouTube audiovisual content, and adding a link does not grant rights to that content.
